Historically, we at Fagor Automation have focused our efforts on the machine-tool sector where we are one of the world leaders. Besides, its wide technical and sales network spread out in more than 50 countries through its own branch offices and distributors.

Fagor Automation is part of Corporación MONDRAGON, 1st Basque business group and 7th in Spain. Integrated by more than 260 companies and entities structured in three sectors: Financial, industrial and distribution.The production activity of Fagor Automation is distributed in 4 production plants: 3 in the Basque Country (Spain) and 1 in Beijing (China).

Fagor Automation successful career has been so successful thanks to our investing efforts in R&D+i (Research, Development and innovation) and in infrastructure that made it possible for us to tackle projects of high strategic relevance. An example of this, are the new facilities for photolithography to produce engraved glass that is used in our linear feedback systems. Traditionally, the company has dedicated more than 10% of its turnover to R&D+i; it currently has 85 R&D engineers and 6 doctors dedicated to developing new automation and optics technologies integrated into the products developed by Fagor Automation.

In order to offer Chinese customer with better serve, develop the Chinese market, Fagor Automation founded its owned ompany, Beijing Fagor Automation Equipment Co., Led. in 1997 in Beijing. In same time 3 branch offices was set up in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing. Currently Fagor Automation employs more than 70 people in China.

All Fagor Automation products are subject to strict quality controls in order to offer our customers reliable products that meet all the standards.

The company has been certified by various organizations (Underwriters Laboratories, AENOR, etc.) that watch that quality is always guaranteed. The products are subject functionality tests performed using the most advanced means: Precision laser test benches, microscope for measuring fine layers, (down to 15 nm.), digital oscilloscopes and optical laboratory.

为了更好地服务中国大陆客户，开拓中国市场，发格自动化于 1997 年在北京成立独资公司 – 北京发格自动化设备有限公司，并陆续在上海、广州、南京设立分公司。目前发格自动化在中国的雇员已超过 70 人。

为保证向客户提供符合标准的可靠产品，在生产过程中，发格自动化严格控制产品质量，采用先进的手段进行产品测试，包括精密激光检测、显微层测量 (15 纳米 )，数字示波器和光学实验室等。公司产品已通过 AENOR，IQNET 及 INTERTEK 认证。
