“Art Masters: A Virtual Reality Experience” – the world’s first interactive VR exhibition of its kind – made its global debut on July 4th. This groundbreaking project is presented by Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, produced by Acciona Living & Culture in collaboration with Spain’s Museo Nacional del Prado, sponsored by TDG, and distributed by Chengdu Future Ze Dian Technology Co., Ltd. after two years of dedicated development.

由上海久事美术馆主办，Acciona Living & Culture与西班牙普拉多国立博物馆合作出品，天通控股股份有限公司赞助，成都未来泽点科技有限公司发行，历时2年共同合作推出的全球首个作品互动VR展“Art Masters: 西班牙普拉多博物馆藏品VR展”（Art Masters: A Virtual Reality Experience）于7月4日全球首发。

As the fourth core exhibition of the “2025 Spanish Art Season” in the Jiushi Art Museum community, visitors wear equipment and shuttle through the multiverse of 5 treasures of the Prado museum, “venturing” into the palace and “falling” into the paintings, experiencing the collision of Spanish art and technology.

作为久事美术馆群落“2025西班牙艺术季”的第四场核心展览，观众戴上设备，穿梭于五幅普拉多镇馆之宝的多重宇宙，“闯”进宫殿，“掉”入画中，感受西班牙艺术和科技的碰撞。

For the first time, five masterpieces from the museum’s collection “leave” their home, inviting audiences on a transcendent journey through art and time. The voyage begins with the radiant Sense of Sight (1617) by Bruegel and Rubens, then plunges into the labyrinth of mirrors in Velázquez’s enigmatic Las Meninas (1656). As Veronese’s mythological tragedy Venus and Adonis (c. 1580) collapses into a Baroque love fable before your eyes, Goya’s shadowy strokes in The Witches’ Sabbath (1819–1823) silently guide you toward the forbidden murals of Quinta del Sordo. Finally, the surreal visions of Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights (1490–1500) explode across space like a cosmic dawn—revealing how the prophetic artist, five centuries ago, conjured a psychedelic allegory of humanity’s eternal dance between spirit and desire.

本次首度“离”馆的五大镇馆之宝，邀请观众畅游在这场跨越时空的艺术之旅中，从勃鲁盖尔与鲁本斯笔下熠熠生辉的《视觉的寓言》（1617）启程，紧接着穿梭于委拉斯开兹《宫娥》（1656）错综的镜像谜宫；当委罗内塞描绘的《维纳斯与阿多尼斯》（约1580）神话悲剧在眼前坍缩为巴洛克时代的爱情寓言，戈雅《女巫的安息日》（1819-1823）的暗黑笔触已悄然将人引向聋人庄园的禁忌壁画；最终，博斯《人间乐园》（1490-1500）的奇谲图景如宇宙大爆炸般铺展，五百年前的先知用迷幻生态预言了人类永恒的灵欲纠缠。

It is worth mentioning that this exhibition combines masterpieces of painting, drama, film, and the latest virtual reality technology. Visitors can not only immerse themselves in the virtual world 360 ° to observe the artistic treasures of the Prado, but also “step into” the painting, use a magnifying glass to view the details of the works, interact with the elements in the painting with their hands, and “infiltrate” the security office of the Prado Museum to discover hidden levels, experiencing an immersive night tour of the Prado Museum and feeling the spiritual universe of the artist’s creation.

值得一提的是，本次展览集绘画大师名作、戏剧、电影与最新虚拟现实科技于一身，观众不仅能在虚拟世界里360°沉浸式观摩普拉多的艺术瑰宝，更能“走入”画中，用放大镜观看作品细节，用手与画中元素互动，还能“潜入”普拉多博物馆保安办公室发掘隐藏关卡，体验一场身临其境的普拉多博物馆奇妙夜之旅，感受艺术家创作时的精神宇宙。

In addition, the exhibition also set up an interactive section on site. Before the exhibition, visitors can peek through small holes to understand the actual display of the 5 treasures of the hall at the Prado Museum. After the exhibition, they can also take photos in the interactive check-in area to become “painted people” and preserve this unique artistic experience.

此外，本次展览还在现场设置了互动环节，观展前观众可以通过小孔窥视了解五大镇馆之宝在普拉多博物馆实际展示的模样，观展后亦可通过在互动打卡区，拍照成为“画中人”，留存下这份别样的艺术体验。

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the Spain, this immersive interactive exhibition, as the first stop of the Prado Museum’s interactive virtual reality project in the world, has received strong support from the Spanish Embassy in China. The Prado Museum in Spain is also committed to using virtual reality and interactive technology through this project to launch a new exhibition mode that allows the museum’s treasures to “travel the world”, allowing visitors to experience the artistic heritage of the Prado Museum without leaving Shanghai.

值此中西建立全面战略伙伴关系20周年之际，此次沉浸式互动展作为普拉多博物馆在全球第一个互动式虚拟现实项目的首站亮相，得到了西班牙驻华大使馆的鼎力支持。西班牙普拉多博物馆亦致力于通过该项目，借助虚拟现实与互动等科技手段，开启让镇馆之宝“游历世界”的全新巡展模式，让观众足不出“沪”，体验普拉多博物馆的艺术底蕴。

At the same time, as one of the core projects of the “2025 Spanish Art Season”, Jiushi Art Museum relies on multi museum linkage, empowers humanities with technology, and activates the Bund with art. Through this exhibition, we hope to bring a passionate and transcendent viewing experience to the general public, tourists, and art enthusiasts, while also promoting the exchange, development, and dissemination of art and culture between the two countries.
